Antioxidant and Hepatoprotective Effects of Fig Fruit Extract with Olive Oil and Date-Palm Fruit Extract on Hepatic Toxicity of Oral Subchronic Exposure to Some Nanoparticles in Wistar Rats

The aim is to study the possible protection of fig fruit extract with olive oil and date-palm (FOD) as natural antioxidants in decreasing subchronic toxicity hazards SiO2NPs, Al2O3NPs, or ZnONPs male rats treated for 75 days. We used 80 Wistar distributed into eight groups according treatment. FOD antioxidant treatments were at their recommended doses. All nanoparticles (100 mg/kg) given orally daily Compared control, oral administration different NPs alone led dramatic oxidative stress, liver function parameters, histopathological, p53, inflammatory markers (TNF-α IL-6). FOD-NPs-treated recorded significantly reduced hepatotoxicity effects compared those alone. In conclusion, supplementations ameliorate NP’s hepatotoxicity.
